Accessibility statement.
Everyone should be able to plan a day on the river. Here's how we've built this site with that in mind.

Our goal
Laurentian Tours wants this website to be easy to use for everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or other assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.
What we've done
- Text and buttons have strong color contrast, and text can be enlarged without breaking the page.
- Everything works with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a "Skip to content" link.
- Images have text descriptions, and decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
- The booking form has clear labels, explains errors in plain words, and links each error to the field it's about.
- Animations are reduced or turned off if your device is set to reduce motion. The moving fish carousel has a pause button and stops when you hover over or focus on it.
- Pages use proper headings and landmarks so assistive technology can navigate them.
- The site works on phones, tablets, and computers.
Known limitations
Some links go to other websites (like fishing license sites) that we don't control and that may not meet the same standards. We test the site regularly and fix problems as we find them.
