A half-day fishing charter in Alexandria Bay costs $475 to $600 for the whole boat, and a full day is $650 to $900. Every Laurentian Tours trip is priced up front here. Prices are for the whole boat, not per person, and there's no deposit. Richard follows the Alexandria Bay Fishing Guides Association rates.
The things first-timers usually ask about, in plain words.

One price covers the whole boat. Rates are for your group, not for each person, so the more people you bring, the less each person pays. For example, a half-day charter for 4 is $550 (about $138 each), a river cruise for 6 is $575 (about $96 each), and a waterfowl hunt for 2 is $600 ($300 each). The only per-person prices are the shore dinner add-on and the shore dinner at your place.
No deposit, nothing to pay online. Send a request or call or text Richard, and he'll confirm your date and the details with you directly.
Weather happens. If wind, storms, or unsafe ice make a trip a bad idea, Richard reschedules with you instead of sending you out in it.
Water and snacks are on board. Fishing charters and river cruises include cold bottled water and light snacks. On a full day, pack a lunch.
Your catch, ready for the cooler. Richard cleans and packages your fish, ducks, or geese on request.
Bigger groups are welcome. For more than 6 people, Richard brings in another Alexandria Bay Fishing Guides Association guide and boat. Give him some notice, and he'll send you a quote.
Licenses. Anglers 16 and older need a fishing license (see which license you need). Hunters bring their own New York hunting license, HIP registration, and federal duck stamp.

How much does a fishing charter in Alexandria Bay cost?
With Laurentian Tours, a half-day (4-hour) charter is $475 for one person up to $600 for six. A full day (7 hours) runs $650 to $900, and a half day with a traditional shore dinner runs $630 to $1,030. The price is for the whole boat, so it's cheaper per person when you bring more people.
Is the price per person or per boat?
Per boat (or per hunt). One price covers your whole group, up to 6 people (4 on a waterfowl hunt). The only per-person prices are the shore dinner add-on for river cruises ($45 each) and the shore dinner we bring to you ($50 each).
Do you take a deposit?
No. Send a request or text Richard, and he'll confirm your date. There's nothing to pay online.
What's included in the price?
The boat, a USCG-licensed captain, all the fishing gear and bait, and on fishing charters and river cruises, cold bottled water and light snacks. Ice fishing trips include the heated shanty, gear, and a meal cooked on the ice. Fish and game are cleaned and packaged on request.
Can you take a group bigger than 6?
Yes, with advance notice. Richard brings in another Alexandria Bay Fishing Guides Association guide and boat, so bigger groups, reunions, and company outings can fish together.
How much should I tip a fishing guide?
Tips aren't required, but they're always appreciated. Many guests tip around 15 to 20 percent of the trip price for a good day on the water. See how much to tip a fishing guide.
Do I need a fishing license?
Anyone 16 or older needs a fishing license; kids under 16 don't. Most trips fish New York water, so a New York license is usually what you need; depending on where the fish are, Richard may suggest an Ontario license instead. Waterfowl hunters bring their own hunting license, HIP registration, and federal duck stamp.
Ready when you are.
No deposit. Richard will call or text to confirm the details.
